. . . when you have the "shacknasties"? Well, as Mr. Mills says, we tie flies, check gear, re-check gear, and troll around on forums, which are hilariously maddening as folks indeed banter about useless points of debate always trying to sound like one is the better angler through the screen of a computer!
Or, we can head out, strap on the skis, and get in some powder. This place is a mere 9 miles from my house! This pics are from last Saturday. Word is, snow is great again as it has snowed off and on all week. Great thing is, this place is closed during the week, so the snow stays fresh. Here's to finding ways to shake off the "shacknasties!"
This Saturday will see more turns like this, then some rockin' Hot Dish bluegrass! (That's me in the Bristol Bay shirt, of course.)

Thanks for the link Sam!

I tend to avoid all places fsihable on holiday weekends. I've had too may encounters with the idiots that would prefer to swim where you're fishing. Better to just stay home and go during the week, which is exactly what I plan to do this coming week. Mark
